Five ways to display services on your website

One of the main goals of your website is to explain to potential clients how they can work with you and the services you provide.

Keep in mind, your services page alone isn’t necessarily going to sell your stuff—you’ll need to market and guide potential clients to your services page to learn more and take the next step toward working with you. However, if it’s a jumbled mess, it’s more likely to confuse and might deter someone from taking that next step.

In other words, if it’s clear and easy to understand, it’s not a big deal. If it’s bad (and by bad I mean frustrating to navigate or understand) then it could be costing you clients or customers.

For this reason, your website must be well organized and clearly describe your services. Most often when someone is visiting your website, they want to browse through your services to find out more information. They’ve likely seen a quick overview somewhere else (like social media) and now are ready to learn more details.

The best way to organize your services on your website depends on how many services you offer and how they are related to each other. Check out these examples to get some ideas flowing:

1. List

Sometimes a simple list is the best way to display your services. If your offerings are minimal or don't need a lot of explanation, a list is a great way to keep it simple. Your list can include a title (name of the package or service) an intro paragraph, and maybe a few bullet points to show what’s included. In the example below, I started the page with an introduction at the top and then listed out the packages below with a link to inquire about each one.

2. Tabs

When you have multiple offerings that include a lot of information, tabs are a great way to separate them without creating multiple pages. This keeps everything on one page but allows visitors to look at one option at a time. Tabs are also a great way to display different categories that all fall under the same main offering. For example, a wellness clinic may offer acupuncture as a service, and have different information to share based on a patients condition.

3. Columns

If your packages are similar or build on each other, a good way to display them is in columns. This makes it easy for your client to compare what each package includes and choose the best option for them. This also works well if you have different pricing tiers or payment plan options.

4. Sales page(s)

A sales page works great when you have a single offer that’s different from all of your other services. Some good examples are a digital course, membership, or group program. Sales pages are popular for high-ticket offers because they provide more detail and testimonials which can provide reassurance that the investment is right for them.

5. A combination of the options listed above

Sometimes it’s best to use a combination of the options listed above to clearly organize your services or offerings. For example, you might use a list for 1:1 services and have a separate sales page for your digital course. You can even use a couple of these options within the same page, like tabs to display features or add-on services, or columns to show pricing options.


I hope these examples have helped show you what’s possible when it comes to organizing your services on your website. It’s important to start by listing out all of your services or offers and consider the following questions:

How many offers do you have? Do your services build on each other? Do you offer optional add-ons? Do you have offers within different price ranges (ie. low ticket offer, mid, high)?

Let this list guide you as you consider how to best display your services. If you have multiple packages, I always recommend giving clients the opportunity to reach out if they need help figuring out what they need. You can also include the process you follow or an FAQ section to help ease someone into taking the next step.

Remember the goal is to keep it SIMPLE. Make it easy for potential clients to find the information they need!
