Moodboard Monday: Soft & Approachable

It’s moodboard Monday! Join me here every other Monday to explore a new moodboard, which is one of my favorite parts of the branding process. It’s the piece that gives life to the feelings and sensations you want to evoke when someone experiences your brand. When you stir up those genuine feelings, you prime your ideal client or customer to resonate with what you have to offer, even if they haven’t read a word about you yet.

This week’s moodboard is soft and understated. The neutral grays and soft pink feel minimal and this color palette would work well for a brand that is creative and has high attention to detail.

The kind of brand or business I envision using this moodboard: This board would be perfect for a boutique bedding store. The feel is very soft and minimal, and creates a calm feeling for customers.

The feelings I wanted to evoke in this moodboard: Graceful, soft, lively, and inspiring.

The visual I had in mind while building this: Beautiful warm blankets and fluffy pillows on top of a cozy clean bed. I imagine customers shopping in store or online and having a sense of the quality and attention to detail.

What feelings does this bring up for you? What kind of brand could you imagine this moodboard being perfect for? Leave a comment to let me know!
